Editorial consultant needed for the '500 Health Tips' book.
The book, by UK health journalist Hazel Courteney with nutritionist Gareth Zeal, was first published in the UK in 2001 and has been a bestseller in UK ever since. To launch the book into the US Cico books is in need of a consultant with a background in complementary health to advise on the language and technical changes the book may need for the US market, and potentially help with the launch in terms of promotion.

Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) invites nominations and applications for the position of:
Nutrition Program Director
Founded in 1969, Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) is located in San Pedro Garza García, a suburb of Monterrey, México. This community has one of the highest human development index nationwide and the leading income per capita in the country. UDEM offers 35 baccalaureate, 17 master's degrees, 27 medical specialties, and it´s accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Teaching at undergraduate and graduate level.
- Assure the quality and efficiency of the academic program.
- Responsible for the efficient curriculum administration and operation, including budgeting, student and alumnae relations, academic appointments, program management, facilities, and other services.
- Contribute to the international projection of the academic program.
- Provide orientation to students in order to help them achieve their academic and professional potential.
- Create a professional network linked to the best research and knowledge generation projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master in Nutrition or related areas (Doctoral Degree in Nutrition preferred).
- Five years of professional experience in Nutrition.
- Teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate level.
- Outstanding oral and written communications skills in Spanish and/or English.
Additional Qualifications:
- Excellent teaching skills.
- Effective administration of human and economic resources.
- Experience in higher educational organizations or similar institutions with academic research projects and/or consultancy.
- Strong motivation and initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively within broad program goals.
- Integrity and high standards of excellence.
· Commitment with UDEM’s values, principles, purposes and objectives.
